Rainy Mondays breakfast shake

Karen Carpenter said it best. “Rainy days and Mondays always get me down”. You ever feel like almost every day you have school or work (or both), feel like a rainy day or a monday?

Trying to rush out the door to meet the hustle and bustle of your daily life? Sometimes we forget the most important things in life. The most important start of the day. Breakfast of course. Breakfast means to break “break fast”  or “break fastly”. In order to rev up your metabolism, you need to make sure you eat within an hour of waking up.

But how can you do that if you have to get out of the door in time to get where you need to go on time? Well I have a meal replacement shake that will not only give you energy, but fill you up and taste delicious. And it only takes less than ten minutes to make. And it’s completely vegan and good for you.

You will need
1 scoop of Garden of life’s perfect food energizer.
1 scoop of Garden of life’s Raw Meal Vanilla spiced chai
~ 4-6 ounces of water
~ 8-10 ounces of Almond milk or any other non dairy milk ( Regular animals milk is a little too rich for this shake, so let’s keep it light on the tummy)
~ 4-6 once of Trader Joes very green 100% juice smoothie.
~ You will also need a blender or blender bottle.

*If you don’t like non dairy milk or don’t want to spend the extra money, just dilute your non vegan milk with 4-6 ounces of water.

Simply add your ingredients to you blender bottle or blender and shake for 30 seconds or blend until smooth. It’s delicious and good for you.
