If you aren’t already not excited about getting ready for summer, because you haven’t lose those couple of pounds during the winter, I got more bad news for you. Did you forget about your dry cracked skin or feet? Ooh, too soon? Well let’s pull the band-aid off. Yes it’s that time of the year. And while I am not here to help you with the wonderful miracle of weight loss (at least not today, or until I find the miracle myself). But I do have some good news. Your dry, cracked skin and feet problems are solved.
Zim’s Advanced Crack Cream with Organic Aloe and Arnica is for both dry skin and dry feet or cracked heels. This product is a herbal formula made with Aloe and Arnica that was developed by a pharmacist to treat the rough, and hard to moisturize areas of your skin. Parts like your elbows, feet, cuticles, hands, and all over the body as well.
Now, I will tell you first off, that I really do like this product. In fact, I have been trying to find it to get more. I love it that much and it will definitely be a part of arsenal for moisturizing my roughest areas like my feet and elbows. However, I do have some cons I want to talk about. So we are going to start with the cons because they are pretty miniscule compared to the pros of this product and its benefits.
The biggest con about this product to me, would be the smell. It’s a little tiger balmish and menthol-like. Personally, I don’t like the smell of both, especially if it’s in lotion form. The smell does somewhat dissipate after a while, but not completely. Which some people may not exactly feel comfortable about wearing it outside. I don’t think it’s the biggest problem in the world. But it still is something you should know. Another thing, is why is the container bigger? I think there should be more product for the price. I haven’t used up all of the product just yet, but it would be nice to have more product, as when you start using it, you are more likely to start using more of it. Even if you don’t like the smell, you will get over it after I tell you about the pros.
Now the biggest pro about this product is that it works. I know. Shocker. I used this product as a spot treatment for my elbows and my feet. I applied the product onto my feet and put on some socks. I walked around the house for a few hours and even fell asleep. When I woke up, my feet were soft and my slightly cracked heel was no longer hurting because it was beginning to close up. After seeing the results from the first try, I decided to continue to do the spot treatments on my feet to see if I could reverse the look of my dry feet. So far so good. My feet feel smooth and the places where the skin was flaky and dry, are no longer looking that way. It no longer hurts to walk. And as for my elbows, which were never really all that rough, this product made them feel extremely soft to touch.
As for the long term results of this product, this is where they really come up short. I noticed that when I was not using the product on a daily basis, my feet and elbows either did not get any more moisturized than it already was or just went back to being dry looking. I don’t know if you can say it’s a good or bad thing because you have to use the product often or follow up with a moisturizing lotion, and it motivates you to put more effort in caring for your skin. However, having to use the product often does not make it cost effective. But for the price, I think it’s well worth it. And as soon as I find it, I plan of stocking up on this stuff. So I say to definitely give this a try.
