Don’t you just love the idea of tropical items during the winter? I think it makes me appreciate the seasonal item more. Especially coconuts. Their delicious, have so much health benefits, and taste delicious in any form they are put in.
Today we are going to talk about chips. Coconut chips are very new to the market, so they are not that easy to find. But when you do they taste delicious and are such a refreshing alternative from chips, that are over processed, filled with hydrogenated oils and are completely laden with calories.
Dang Foods Coconut chips are healthy delicious and addictive. They are filled nutrients such as lauric acid, high-density lipoprotein (HDL) or good cholesterol which is shown to lower the risk of cardiovascular disease. Coconut chips also gives you an energy boost, and immune system boost, and helps get rid of unwanted belly fat. They are also both gluten free and vegan, and are verified by the Non-Gmo project. Dang Foods coconut chips come in two flavors. Original toasted and Caramel sea salt. The Original toasted was nice and crunchy. I would personally use this to top hot and cold cereals with to add some extra flavor and crunch. It was not salty, nor over sweetened. The Carmel sea salt was my favorite. The pairing of Carmel and sea salt is such a classic combo and seems to never fail. It was delicious and refreshing. I love the concept and the idea behind this product and the product is unique. If you love tropical Fruit, you will love these.
